With night vision and thermal becoming more widespread, the ability to keep a low profile is becoming more important at night. The new prone panoramic bridge allows you to quickly and easily switch between standing and prone tilt settings via a button push that can be operated with either hand. The bridge has also been designed to allow you to quickly and easily switch field of view (FOV) to suit the environment you are in, whilst ensuring the angle is the same for both eyes.

The prone setting gives you an additional 15 degrees of tilt. This means that you can look forward, through the top of your eyes, when in the prone position, crawling or crouching. It also makes passively aiming through a red dot more comfortable at night when prone.

The bridge features pre-set detents for 40, 55 and 70 degrees field of view. The bridge also has interpupillary distance (IPD) thumb screws so that you can set the correct distance for your eyes. Once set for 40 degrees the IPD screws also maintain the correct distance, to suit your eyes, at 55 and 70 degree FOV. The thumb screws use locking nuts to prevent the setting from moving.

The design of the bridge has been optimised to minimise vertical and front to rear movement of the eyepieces when adjusting FOV, so you should not need to adjust your helmet mount.

The bridge can be used with dual PVS-14s or as a mono. It comes with blanking plates, so that it can be used as a mono for either the left or right eye.

The tension in the joints can be user adjusted to your preference.

The bridge has bungee retention tether points at the rear to help stabilise the bridge.
